2) Identify students who score at mastery, near mastery, and remediation.

3) Lesson Planning- Modify/ Adjust Curriculum/Instructional Strategies, and Create Assessments for students needing enrichment, extension and remediation.

(Use SLDS for resources.)

Road to Milestones Testing


  1. We will be on a Blitz Schedule from February 8 - April 1, 2016 (from 10:30-11:30 a.m. - which is the 7th period class time)
  2. Project SOAR will take place for students who are not in the BLITZ classes February 8 - April 1, 2016; Mon - Thu and Sat. 2/27; 3/5 &19; 4/2; Buses for Sat only)
  3. Regular instruction should continue in core classes
  4. Provide students practice with how to answer selected response questions
  5. Include the 12 Power Words in instruction (Words used most often on standardized tests. See attachment).
  6. Use the sample prep links in addition to GOFAR:

Fun Days - 6th Grade - gym on Fridays, 7th Grade - Commons on Fridays; 8th Grade - Gym on Thursdays. (Grade levels can exchange days; inform administration.)


Grades - We will record BLITZ goals/grades on a roster and the Base Enrichment teacher will record a pass or fail in Infinite campus each week.
