Kindergarten Drive-Thru Preview February 4

Desert Sage is hosting a drive through Kindergarten Preview

event on Thursday, February 4 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The event is aimed at preparing your family and incoming Kindergarten student for the exciting journey to Kindergarten! Families will drive through the campus, stopping at multiple drive-up locations. At each stop the family will receive important Desert Sage information about topics such as registration, the learning environment, and receive multiple "take and make" activities. Best of all, families will get to meet all the kindergarten teachers, the principal, the assistant principal, other staff members, and proud Gecko students who participate in Student Council.

Families are asked to remain in their car at all times to maintain safe social-distancing guidelines and to wear face masks throughout the event.

Valentine's Day Celebrations

As we continue to implement mitigation strategies to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we will be asking students and families to refrain from bringing Valentine's Day cards or treats from home and sharing. In an effort to provide opportunities for students to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Sunday, February 14, Desert Sage and all other DVUSD school’s are inviting students to create Valentine's Day crafts or cards at school and bring them home to share with their family members.

This information was also included in the most recent DVUSD Parent Update on February 1, 2021. An archive of all DVUSD Parent Updates is available at: https://www.dvusd.org/Page/75080
