Symphonic Band Practice Schedule

Below you will find the practice schedule for our Symphonic Band. We will only be asking them to come in once a week for 35 minutes, so we ask that they make it a priority to be here. We understand that our students are highly involved in other activities, but 35 minutes is a minimal amount of time, compared to other activities that meet every day.

All Symphonic Band students have a practice plan that outlines what they should be practicing on a daily basis. Their practice assignments should take no more than 15-20 minutes for them to complete.

Thank you very much for your support as we prepare for our Winter Concert taking place on December 11th!

Daily Individual Practice and Practice Logs

Did you know?....

That the more consistency our band members have with their daily practice, the greater improvements they will make in their individual playing. Please encourage your student to practice on a daily basis! It should only take anywhere from 15-20 minutes to work on the parts of their music they struggle with.

Band students do have practice logs due at the end of every week. They do require a parent signature if they are practicing at home, or a band director's signature if they are practicing at school.

We thank you for encouraging your students to practice their instruments daily. It will greatly increase the quality of performance at our upcoming concerts!
