McAllister Minutes
Week of: October 30 - November 3
The Week Ahead!
The Career Fair was an INCREDIBLE experience in which each and everyone was able to participate. Living and working in a community that is always so willing to embrace public education and support our school is one of the many things that make this place INCREDIBLE!
Thank you ALL for remaining focused on the core of McAllister ES - OUR STUDENTS. With a new round of IF Time, second nine weeks, cool weather and a multitude of activities thank you all for keeping the main thing the main thing and investing in our students through meaningful Data Team Meetings, Grade Level Collaboration and working through tasks for the betterment of our student body. We often talk about growth and do not always see the end result until days, weeks, months or even sometimes years down the road - I hope to be able to share some more detailed exciting news with each of you this week!
With literacy being one of our primary goals as a school, I find it necessary to model this practice with each and every single class and hope to do so once a month starting in November. With kindness always being at the forefront and the upcoming release of the movie "Wonder" I will be reading: "We're All Wonders" By R.J Palacio in November. Please use this link to fill out the best time of day you would be OK with me stopping by to briefly interrupt your class for Great reason: http://bit.ly/MESreads
