CHEERLEADERS OF THE WEEK
IRVING ISD ATHLETIC PROTOCOLS--BHS MUST FOLLOW THESE RULES
To ensure the health and safety of all involved, the Irving ISD Athletic Department has established the following guidelines in accordance with local and state recommendations and requirements:
STUDENTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT TO ATTEND AN ATHLETIC EVENT.
All spectators will self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms upon entry and respond with a “yes” or “no” to a stadium worker. Anyone who has been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 or who is showing symptoms should remain home.
All attendees will be required to wear a face covering according to Executive Order GA-29.
All spectators are required to sit in the bleachers. No standing or loitering.
Student groups will not be allowed on the field or court.
Due to the increased positive cases we are seeing in Dallas County, the following guidelines will be in place for basketball season. Any student who attends a game must enter with an adult and sit with an adult for the duration of the game. This is consistent with what all other schools in 7-6A are doing. Masks are required as well as social distancing. Thank you in advance for your cooperation as we navigate these challenging times.
