CHS Community Newsletter

Principal's Message
Good afternoon Canby High School Students and Families!
As the school year comes to a close, I want to express my gratitude for the CHS students, staff, and Canby community. Our students are the reason that I love coming to work each day. They inspire me and fill me with hope for the future. Our staff cares deeply for our students and dedicates countless hours to their vocation. I say it often, but I truly believe our community is Canby’s superpower. Our families are so supportive of both their students and the school, and the community continues to rally behind our needs. Whether it be facilitating job shadows or supporting our talented artists, thespians and musicians, cheering at sporting events or passing the bond, the Canby community supports the school in more ways that I can express.
Please see the important information in this newsletter about Summer Credit Recovery, Summer Jump for Incoming 9th grade students, and Summer Food Service.
This will be the last newsletter of the school year. Please note our summer hours. Next week, June 19-23, we will be open 8:00-3:30. We will be closed from June 26-July 31, but we will be checking voicemail and email periodically. We will be open again in August from 8:00-3:30. For transcript requests, go through Naviance or the CHS website, under “Quick Links” and “Transcript Request.” Directions can be found at this link.
Again, thank you; it is my pleasure to serve the CHS community. I am looking forward to another amazing year. See you in the Fall!
Have a wonderful summer!
Best,
Cari Sloan
