The Groves Grapevine
Building the future, one student at a time! 11/12/21
Our Groves families help our Gators THRIVE by becoming independent!
We love your children. They are indeed the BEST at smiling and waving with those sweet, toothless grins! They tell us the funniest stories, and their innocent perspective on things make us giggle. Thank you for sharing them each day and trusting your most blessed treasure in our hands!
One way we continue to show we love your students is by helping them each day become more independent. We teach beyond the traditional reading, writing, and math that is expected in a school's curriculum. We teach them organization. We teach them responsibility. We teach them accountability for their hard work.
We appreciate our families and how well you support this journey through elementary school for your student. Continue to grow them to become a positive influence on others by helping to build the same independence in them! They can do so much - we see it every day! Allow them that freedom to take responsibility gradually and model for them what you expect.
You are building the future, one student at a time!
Thanksgiving Meal Update
Families,
We have some important information to share with you about our annual Thanksgiving meal. For those of you new to our school, every year prior to the holiday break, we host a Thanksgiving feast for our students and invite our families to join them. Unfortunately, COVID-19 continues to cause nationwide supply chain disruptions. For this reason, we will be unable to host our traditional feast with our families.
We remain hopeful that we will be able to provide some type of Thanksgiving meal for students the week of Nov. 15-19, but due to the unpredictability of supplies, we cannot make that commitment at this time. Of course, families are always welcome to visit and eat lunch with their students like any other school day.
We share your disappointment and appreciate your understanding. If circumstances change, we will let you know as soon as possible.
