Please review the Draft of the Family and Community Engagement Plan & School-Family Promise (Plan/Promise) provided by Corley Elementary.
Students participating in the Title I, Part A program and their families agree that this Plan/Promise outlines how the entire school staff, the students and their families will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement at Corley Elementary. This Plan/Promise also describes how the school and families will build and develop a partnership to help students achieve the challenging State and district academic standards. If you have comments or questions, please contact Dr. Tricia B. Sumpter.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
SEL is how adults and children understand and manage emotions, set & achieve positive goals, feel & show empathy for others, maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions.
Parents and teachers teach these skills on a daily basis already!
Your kids are receiving SEL lessons every week from their teacher and from counseling lessons
When you arrive to the school please have your Photo ID out and ready to show at the door Buzz In System. We will bring your student to you.
