In the winter bald eagles can be seen around unfrozen lakes and hunting along coastlines, reservoirs and rivers.
During the migration bald eagles are seen near all types of water habitats.
They are primarily found in Alaska and Canada around large bodies of lakes and water. Also they are scattered in locations across the lower 48 and can be found in Mexico too.
Bald eagles are important because they are the nations symbol. Also they play an important factor in the food chain because they can be prey or predator to keep the balance.
