Padilla Elementary School
Providing every student with the keys to open the doors of their future.
A Note from Principal Purfurst
Thank you to all of the families that have worked with us to help slow the spread of COVID at Padilla recently! We know that keeping your child home when they are not feeling well can add stress and complexity to your own lives, but we also know that, in the event they are sick with COVID, this is one of the best ways to prevent it from spreading at school. Thank you!
An Update from Dean Hawkins
Secure Drill #1
This week we will hold our first secure drill of the year on Thursday at 3:00. The purpose of this drill is to secure our perimeter if there were an incident outside of our building. During this drill students will remain in their classrooms where it will be business as usual. We will however not allow any visitors into the building during this drill as we will lock all doors to our building. Please plan ahead if you need to pick your student up this week on Thursday to do so before 3:00 As you will not be allowed into the building until after the drill. This drill should last between five and ten minutes. Please let us know if you have any questions about our Secure Drill.

Congratulations to Ms. Grace's class for winning the October Bear Ticket drawing! Bear tickets are given to entire classes when they show collective CHILL. Good job Ms. Grace's class!
