Book Fair and Literacy Night in the Library
Nelson's Monster Book Fair is underway! Please contact your teacher to determine your child's shopping time. You can also join your child during lunch and take them down to the book fair.
Special Event:
Nelson Families, you are invited to attend this year’s “Monsters and Goosebumps” Scholastic Book Fair and Literacy Night. Literacy Night will be held on Thursday evening, November 19th from 6-7 PM. Enjoy monster joke snack bags, monster crafts, a monster photo booth, a special read aloud of The Little Shop of Monsters, and much more! The book fair will also be open throughout the event, and there are so many great titles this year. We can’t wait to see you there!

Drop-off in the Morning:)
Please ensure that you do not drop your child off at school before 7:20 a.m. You are welcome to wait in your vehicle with your child if you arrive before our drop off time.
In addition we ask that parents who chose to park their cars also walk their child across the cross walk.

Nelson Teacher Turkey Legs
You know what November brings at Nelson? Teacher Turkey Legs! First grade is joining forces with StuCo this year. Students, teachers and parents can bring in money to drop in the turkey bucket of their choice until November 20th.
Thanks for all your support to help raise money for Cumberland Children’s Home to give as a Christmas gift. Teachers & parents can also give tax-deductible donations to Cumberland if you wish.
