Notes From the Office
News from the Art Room:
Our school is now a member of Artsonia.com (www.artsonia.com), the largest online student art museum. Artsonia showcases artwork from thousands of schools around the world. Artsonia’s goals are to develop students’ pride and self-esteem, increase their multicultural understanding through art and involve parents and relatives in student education and accomplishments.
Artsonia manages student art portfolios in a safe and educational manner. We need your permission to create a digital portfolio of your child’s artwork. Within the next week, you will be receiving an email from Artsonia asking permission to showcase your child’s artwork on our school’s web gallery on Artsonia. You will be given a unique “PARENT CODE” which will allow you to view your child’s artwork online.
If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Fleet at FleetK@brightonk12.com
Thank you!

Volunteer Form for Parent Volunteers
If you are planning to volunteer in your child's classroom or attend any field trips this year, you must complete an online background check. Only one form needs to be filled out for the entire district - you do not need to complete a form for each building/event. Forms must be completed by volunteers for each school year and are only valid for one year. Forms must be submitted at least 5 business days prior to any field trip or event to allow for ample processing time and approval.
