Mouse has never had a friend quite like Pig. Pig is so incredibly kind, fabulously fun, but he also has a big secret—he’s a tremendous worrier!

When Pig gets the brilliant idea to throw a party for Mouse and their friends, he can’t help but think of everything that could possibly go wrong. After all, what if a lion eats all the invitations? What if nobody comes? Or worse, what if everyone comes and has an awful time?

Take a minute to review the different tools your child could use to help calm them down. Make a list of 2-3 that can be practiced during the month of December.

Use this as a resource to help calm ourselves when the weight is too heavy.

We will work as a school to meet our monthly goal of 80,000 minutes read! If during the month we make our goal, we will celebrate with a pajama day in January along with an additional 30 minutes of read what you want! We will meet our goal if every student reads 20 minutes a day during the month of December.

Classes will discuss the question on the back of their animal. Please discuss it with your class – how could they help a friend who had that problem? What if you had that problem what could you do? Have you ever felt that way? etc. After discussing, classes will get their animal ready for the party! We can’t wait to see everyone’s animal at Pig’s party!
