4th Quarter Birthday Celebrations - bring treats!
6th & 7th graders;
We will be celebrating the kids who's birthdays fall on this last quarter of the school year on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.The students have signed up to bring items, please ask them what they signed up to bring.
"A" day GD will celebrate on Tuesday 5/17
"B" day GD will celebrate on Wednesday 5/18
8th graders;
The 8th graders are having testing on the last days of school so, we have to have their party on this Friday and following Monday. We did not get a change to have them sign up for anything, so, just have your kids bring something they'd like to share. We have plenty of plates. Students can bring sweet and/or salty treats, drinks, napkins, cups.

Summer Camps for Middle Schoolers
The University of Kansas Center for STEM Learning is doing summer enrichment camps for middle school students in June and July. Students entering sixth grade through students leaving eighth grade are invited to enjoy a week of fun and advanced learning. Each camp take place on the KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park. Science City summer camp sparks interest in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) learning through interactive, challenging and FUN activities! Science City summer camp provides a fun, hands-on environment to explore exciting STEAM topics for kids ages 6-12. Each week, campers engage in programs that teach life science, physical science, art and innovation!

Summer 2016 Workshop - June 8 - 10
The GROW Summer Workshop is a three-day program held on the K-State Manhattan campus. This workshop is designed to encourage and inspire middle school girls to pursue a future in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and pre-health professions. Participants will stay in the residence halls during the workshop and have the opportunity to meet other girls who are also interested in a future in STEM fields.
This event is intended for students who have completed the fifth, sixth, or seventh grade in May 2016. Students are welcome as individuals, or as members of a school or community organization.
BVPAGE is again partnering with the Blue Valley School District
to offer robotics camps for students who have finished grades 2-7.
All proceeds from the camps will again be used for grants
to the district gifted classrooms,
and to fund BVPAGE programs and initiatives.
2016 camp dates are JULY 11 - 15, JULY 18 - 22, JULY 25 - 29
