Some new faces at Penn

We are happy to have some additional administrative support for the remainder of the school year. Mrs. Conner completed 29 years in ICCSD, most recently serving as the principal at Shimek Elementary School. Mrs. Conner will typically be here on Tuesdays, but has recently helped more because Mrs. Heffner has been out due to her father's death. WELCOME, Mrs. Conner!

Welcome Amber Herring!

Amber is filling in as our substitute Student Family Advocate. Amber has worked in the district for 4 years: previously at Tate and then Wickham/Mann and now split between Wickham and Penn. She will be here on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings.

Kris Hynek has had some unexpected health complications that will keep her out the rest of the school year. She is OK! Nothing to worry about, she just needs more time. And she assures me she’ll be back in the fall.

DINE OUT to help our schools

Mark your calendar and #gethungryforeducation! The spring Dine Out for Education is on Thursday, April 5, 2018. All you have to do is dine out at one or more of our 41 participating restaurants and businesses on April 5 and they will donate 10% of their daily sales to the ICCSD Foundation. Take-out and delivery count! For more information, visit the ICCSD Foundation website at or take a look at links to partner restaurants’ online menus.

Mileage Club is starting back up and needs your help

We currently do not have enough volunteers to run mileage club for all grades or for all days. We plan to start next week if we have enough volunteers. We at least need 1 person per shift with 2 people for kindergarten. If anyone else can help, please sign up here
