Some new faces at Penn
We are happy to have some additional administrative support for the remainder of the school year. Mrs. Conner completed 29 years in ICCSD, most recently serving as the principal at Shimek Elementary School. Mrs. Conner will typically be here on Tuesdays, but has recently helped more because Mrs. Heffner has been out due to her father's death. WELCOME, Mrs. Conner!
Welcome Amber Herring!
Amber is filling in as our substitute Student Family Advocate. Amber has worked in the district for 4 years: previously at Tate and then Wickham/Mann and now split between Wickham and Penn. She will be here on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings.
Kris Hynek has had some unexpected health complications that will keep her out the rest of the school year. She is OK! Nothing to worry about, she just needs more time. And she assures me she’ll be back in the fall.
