FIRE SAFETY
Elementary classes will be taking a field trip to the fire station on either 10/12 or 10/13 based on grade level.
EMERGENCY GO HOME EARLY DRILL
The emergency go home drill went well. We had a noticeable amount of students sign-out early. These drills are critical for students to practice so they know where to go and what to do if it is a real emergency.

SCHOOL ATTENDANCE
All absences must be reported to school each day. Absences can be reported in any of the following ways:
- Using the CPCS smartphone app
- Clicking the link on our website: www.cpcs.us
- Sending in a written absence excuse
Excuses are required for every tardy and absence.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is BELONGING FOR ALL!
Our American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians have built vibrant and diverse cultures — safeguarding land, language, spirit, knowledge, and tradition across generations.
On October 10th, our Nation celebrates the invaluable contributions and resilience of Indigenous peoples. We recognize Indigenous peoples’ resolve and strength as well as the immeasurable positive impact that they have made on every aspect of American society.
We encourage everyone to celebrate and recognize the many Indigenous communities and cultures that make up our great country.
SAVE THE DATE
Graduation will be held on THURSDAY, 6/27!
By having graduation on a Thursday, families will be able to enjoy every minute of the limited weekends during the summer. We hope this small change allows families with students in neighboring districts to celebrate together as well!
