Hello, Lighthouse Families,

It has been busy at the Lighthouse this week! Thank you to all who were able to attend our Lighthouse talent show last Thursday. It was so much fun seeing our students display their talents. We had a range of talent including piano, violin, singing, and putting together a production of The Lorax. Seeing the fun that the students had on stage was my favorite part.

On Monday, our elementary students had such a great time exploring nature and geology on their field trip to Interstate Park. Students came back with such excitement to share what they learned. The weather couldn’t have been better.

Our final PTO meeting of the school year is Thursday, May 26 at 5:30 p.m. Please join us in person at the Lighthouse or via this WebEx link. This month's meeting will include a time for parent feedback - all are welcome and encouraged to attend and share thoughts, ideas, concerns & questions to help staff and leadership make Lighthouse the best school for our students.

It’s a busy time of year. Please continue to check in with your student and reach out to facilitators or any staff as you have questions or need clarity. We’re all here to help students find success and have fun as we finish the year.

Have a wonderful week!

With Gratitude,

Lisa Cisewski

This Field Trip Rocked! (Literally!)

Lighthouse students had quite an adventure exploring Interstate Park this week. They visited the Ice Age Interpretive Center and created rock sculptures and rock art. Students were immersed in geology as they explored the Dalles, a basalt gorge with glacial potholes and volcanic rock formations, along the St. Croix River.

Franconia Sculpture Garden

After visiting Interstate Park, Lighthouse School students had a lot of fun exploring all the Franconia Sculpture Garden had to offer.
