Mrs. Greene's 3rd Grade
October 2, 2017
A FULL Week!
We had a great week!
Has your child complained to you about not having someone to sit with at lunch or play with on the playground? I have heard from a few parents last week about this subject. I always want to hear if your child is having difficulty in this area. I never want a student to feel unhappy where friendships are concerned. If I hear from you, I will intervene and try to help your child find a friend(s). I will communicate back to you what I observe after my intervention.
A great way to communicate with me is through your child's Assignment Notebook. I check them every morning. A quick note to me about a concern, a learning celebration, a question, etc... is very appreciated!
We have NINE days left in the first quarter of school. I will be doing assessments for report cards over the next several days.
If your child is assigned a homework assignment, I check to make sure it is complete. Please encourage your child to complete all homework each night. If he/she is struggling to complete it for a specific reason, I am very understanding...FAMILY FIRST! Please just send me a quick email letting me know the circumstances that prevented him/her from completing it.
Looking forward to a GREAT week next week!
Enjoy your weekend...
