Foundations of Early Intervention
for DHH Teachers Online Learning Community
Join us for the Spring online course on working with families of infants and toddlers!
If you enrolled in the online course last year, this one will be different. Some of the information has changed, and the structure will be new. Each module will cover one topic, and all of the modules will be "open" throughout the semester. This will allow you to go through the modules that you need when you need them instead of having to wait until that module comes up in the queue. If you wish to get PD hours, you will need to complete the assignment(s) in the modules you go through. If you only want information, the assignments are optional.
This course will be facilitated by Mari Hubig, Birth-3 Outreach Specialist, Educational Resource Center on Deafness.
Looking for SKI-HI training?
SKI-HI training in Texas is CHANGING!
We have been receiving requests for the dates of the next SKI-HI training. At this time we are not planning a traditional six day SKI-HI training. Because of the changes in ECI services, we are focusing on training that helps prepare deaf ed teachers to provide early intervention services to families of infants and toddlers who are deaf/hard of hearing. While SKI-HI is a resource that teachers need to be familiar with, the skills that are needed are not centered on any one resource or curriculum.
Register for the Foundations of Early Intervention online learning community, and check out the TxDHH Community of Practice for additional learning and networking opportunities.
Don't forget to join the TxDHH Community of Practice Early Intervention group!
The Texas Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TxDHH) Community of Practice (CoP) was developed to provide educators working with students who are deaf/hard of hearing with the opportunity to network with others in their fields throughout the state.
