Teacher iPads remain in Mosyle - Make sure your staff IPad has been is in Mosyle! Unfortunately there is no way to notify staff with a pop up window, if their IPAD still needs to be updated with Mosyle. Building techs have a list of the devices so if staff are unsure of their device, they can contact their building tech. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 is the date set for all iPads to be in Mosyle. After that day, remaining iPads will be disabled requiring staff to contact HELP desk for assistance.
Elementary students newly enrolled receive a password that meets the new password complexities. Their passwords are:
upper case first initial
lower case first letter last name
birth date (mmddyyyy)
Example: Rs01242010
PowerSchool Messenger is Ready...
Thanks to the hard work of all of those involved with the cleanup of parent contacts in PowerSchool, the system is now supplying student contact data to SchoolMessenger. Teachers will find the Message Sender in the PowerTeacher Pro Portal. The instructions for teachers to use Message Sender are in Important Documents on SharePoint, and attached here for you.
The data, which is updated nightly from PowerSchool, is based on the individual’s primary relationship to the student. It includes the daytime, home, work, and mobile phone numbers and email addresses of anyone with one of the following relationships to a student: parent, mother, father, step-parent, step-mother, step-father, foster parent, foster mother, foster father, or guardian.
With any messages you send for the remainder of November, please include: “If you have received this message in error, please notify (elementary) the school secretary. With the ongoing implementation of PowerSchool, staff continue to work on the verification of student contact information. We thank you for your patience during this process.”
