Thank you Veterans!
Classrooms at WCE did a variety of activities to build student capacity with our Veterans. These activities helped them make connections with our families and community and give back to our local Veterans. Many of our students wrote letters to our Local Veterans. Mrs. Hunt's class wrote letters to the National Veterans Museum that has a program to distribute them. Her students also did an analysis of the poem "In Flanders Field. Please take the time to talk to your child about how they honored Veterans in their class! If you have not already, please take a few minutes to watch our slideshow that honors military families that are close to our heart.

District 15 is "green" in its approach to distributing community flyers. Rather than sending flyers home with each student via backpack mail, flyers are posted on the D15 E-Flyers page for parents to view or print 24/7.
