12 Days of #forsythpln Twitter Challenge
You all know how much I love Twitter! On Wednesday 12.6.17, we started the 12 Days of #forsythpln Twitter challenge. Each day has a new idea to share. If you haven't gotten in to Twitter yet to see how much it can offer in the way of micro-PD and PLN-building, this might be a great way to dip your toe. View this Google Doc to see each day's challenge.
Alternate Ways to Review for Midterms
Google Form Scavenger Hunt
Rather than a paper/pencil review, create a webquest/scavenger hunt review of the semester.
Sugarcane
Sugarcane is a free web tool that lets you easily create lots of different kinds of learning games, as well as access ones that others have created. With one data set, you can easily create 18 different games!
Podcasts, SketchNotes, and Blogs
Seeing this blog post about alternatives to showing movies made me think about how students to create their own reviews to share with other students in ways that might be more engaging than just writing some review questions.
Feedback Request and an Offer for More
Since July, I've done a lot of training, and not only on SchoolCity! If you've been to any of my training sessions on SchoolCity or Google, would you mind giving me some feedback? Links are below! Also, it would be great for this to be shared with teachers so that I can get their input as well.
In addition, if you'd like for me to come to your school to work with small groups of teachers on any of the trainings listed or request your own, just let me know!
