Buffett Sports: Skill Development
Seventh and Eighth Grade Students!
If you are interested in participating in boys basketball skills development or girls volleyball skills development, stop by to pick up a packet in the main office. The first 24 who get their paperwork in can sign up for a once-a-week skills development after school. Coaches will work with you on honing and practicing your skills to get you ready for next year’s tryouts at Buffett and high schools. Skills development will begin the week of November 16 and end December 10. Students who receive transportation will be eligible to ride the late bus home. Space is limited, so stop by the main office today after block 1/2 to pick up your information packet.

New Faces of Bobcat Nation

Ms. Richards is a newly Nebraska resident, having moved from Iowa to teach a Buffett. She graduated from Iowa State with a degree in education with an emphasis in math, reading and technology. In her spare time, she loves to travel. North India is her favorite place that she has ever been and she spent five weeks there. Ask her about it sometime!! Ms. Richards says Buffett truly feels like home and she loves every single person that she gets to work with day in and day out. Welcome to Buffett, Ms. McKim-Richards!

Reminders to Stay Healthy at School!
Wear a clean mask Make sure you are wearing a clean mask to school every day. We are asking that students remember to wear a mask even on the bus! Many bus riders are coming off the bus and then putting a mask on. It is important to always wear a mask when you are around others. | Put your mask back on right after you eat Please remember to put that mask back on as soon as you are done eating breakfast or lunch. You can still talk with your friends, but a mask needs to be on if you are done eating and drinking. This will help keep others around you and your teachers, safe. | Wash your hands/hand sanitize frequently We are asking students and staff to hand sanitize as soon as you enter the building, before you enter each class, before you enter the breakfast and lunch lines, after you eat, and any time you touch something that is not yours. |
