Holiday StoryWalk in Downtown Perry
Our school district is excited to partner with the Downtown Perry and Shop Downtown Perry to present the second book in our StoryWalk® series, December 10-12. The walk begins at 1005 Jernigan Street.
StoryWalk® is a fun way for children and adults to enjoy reading and the outdoors simultaneously by taking pages from children’s books and placing them along paths for participants. Select stores in downtown Perry will post pages from a storybook in their windows. Activities for the whole family will be available along with a special prize for the first 100 children to complete a short survey.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
Math Facts Game Board: Fun for the Whole Family
There is a game room below. We would like for you to let your child play the Math games in the game room. The games are grade level appropriate. We think if you can get the students to practice their Math Facts at least 5 days a week, they will become fluent in adding and subtracting numbers 0-10 as well as, the upper grades learning their multifaction tables.
