Important Update from Dr. Cain
May 12, 2020 ~ To all WSD Families
Seniors Last Week
We hope this update finds you and your family doing well. This is the last week for our seniors and we want to give the Class of 2020 a special shout out. No one could have predicted your school year and K-12 journey would come to a close in this manner. We want you to know how proud we are of you for stepping up and demonstrating how to adapt and make the most of a difficult situation in the face of adversity. We are all proud of you and your accomplishments and we are confident you are well equipped to face the challenges that lie ahead. We look forward to celebrating with you on Thursday at the senior sendoffs planned at each high school and at your graduation on July 25. Congratulations and best wishes to each of you!
Picking up/Dropping off Materials - May 21 & 22
Each school is establishing procedures for picking up personal items and dropping off Chromebooks and other items that need to be returned. You will be hearing about those drop off/pick up details from your school for all grade levels shortly if you have not already. It is so very important that you follow the directions and process that is shared by your school administrator to ensure the safety of your family and our staff. These efforts have been carefully thought out and coordinated to protect everyone and we need your cooperation to do this efficiently and safely. If you have any questions, please contact your building principal.
