COVID-19 + 4-H UPDATES
Hello 4-H Members, Families and Volunteers,
Due to the continued spread of Corona Virus, it has been decided that all 4-H events held at the Douglas-Sarpy 4-H Office have been cancelled until further notice. This would include, 4-H Club Meetings, 4-H Workshops, 4-H Contests, etc. Additionally, all 4-H School Enrichment is cancelled as well. Alternative methods of delivery are being explored at this time. Even though all 4-H activities have been cancelled, clubs should use their own discretion as to whether or not to hold club meetings. I would encourage you at this time to suspend all community service activities with the public until the all clear has been given.
The Dean of Extension, Dr. Chuck Hibberd has said that a reassessment of the situation with the virus and it's spread will be done in May. Thus, all programs have been suspended and/or cancelled until May. We will reassess the situation and the programs going forward at that time.
If you should have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me by phone or email. 402-444-1799 or bkreifels3@unl.edu
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Brett Kreifels
Douglas-Sarpy 4-H Program Lead
