The Boerne ISD Board of Trustees held their regular monthly meeting in the BISD Board Room on Monday, April 25th, 2022.

State ChampionsCongratulations to the 2022 Class 4-A State Champion Boerne Greyhounds Boys Soccer Team! The Greyhounds won their second straight state title by defeating Celina 2-1 in overtime in the state championship match. Jess Gonzales scored the championship-clinching goal on a penalty kick in overtime for the Greyhounds, while Goalkeeper Noah LeMaster made five saves to earn Most Valuable Player honors. Boerne went 7-0 in the playoffs and outscored their opponents by a total of 39-6 in the postseason. Since 2018, Boerne ISD students have earned nearly 5,000 credit hours, and families have saved nearly $1.5 million dollars in tuition costs thanks to taking dual credit courses.
The Boerne ISD Class of 2021 earned an average of 18 college credit hours thanks to dual credit.
Boerne ISD and Alamo Colleges will open the first-ever Pathways in Technology Early College High School in August 2022.
Boerne ISD thanks Alamo Colleges for their continued partnership.
-Early voting began on Monday and runs through May 3rd, with election day on May 7th.
-Boerne ISD held the Inaugural Academic, Fine Arts, and Military Signing Day last week and it was a rousing success. Over 100 students chose to participate, with those students earning a total of $5 million in scholarships.
-Boerne ISD held the first meeting with the new Extracurricular Leadership Council students. A record of 185 students signed up to participate in the program.
-Boerne ISD will host the final Student Advisory Council meeting this week. The students were a large part of the Long Range Steering Committee that built the Bond package, as well as other projects.
