Phytochemicals
Phytochemicals are plant chemicals that provide protective coloring, odor, and taste to plants in which they are plants.
- they reduce the risk of illnesses and disease and can even prevent cancer
Examples of Phytochemicals:
1. Watermelon (Carotenoids) - inhibit cancer growth
2. Carrots (Carotenoids) - inhibit cancer growth
3. Pineapple (Carotenoids) - inhibit cancer growth
