TEACHER ASSISTANCE
Although our school is closed our teachers are still working on ways to educate our students. If you need help with any of the assignments that are being sent home, we have teachers that can assist your child. You can either reach out to your child’s teacher for assistance or you can send an email to contacthouston@conroeisd.net and we will have a teacher contact your child to assist them with their assignments.

TECHNOLOGY
If you don’t have technology at home and would like to borrow one from the campus please use the link to request a device. Since we have a limited number of devices, we are providing only one device per family. We generally need about 24-48 hours to fill the request. We will contact you when they are ready for pick-up. Our scheduled pick up dates are Tuesday and Thursday. If devices are not picked up in timely manner the device will be assigned to another family in need.

YEARBOOK UPDATE
During the last few weeks we have found ourselves in a place that none of us have ever experienced before. We have made the decision that we are going to move forward with our yearbook. We are looking for pictures of students learning from home that we can add to our yearbook to capture this unique time in history. If you would like to submit pictures please send them to contacthouston@conroeisd.net. You can also post the pictures on our school Facebook page or Twitter feed. Please see the information at the end of this newsletter.
We are working remotely to complete our yearbook. The yearbook distribution date has been moved to the beginning of the next school year. All yearbooks will be distributed to everyone that purchases one. If students move to another school, the yearbook will be mailed to the student.
Also, if you would like to purchase a yearbook, it is not too late. You can purchase them online by going to ybpay.lifetouch.com. The yearbook ID code is 13722520.
Staying Healthy by Practicing Social Distancing
The wellbeing of our students and families is important to us. You can help by talking to your child about healthy practices to prevent the spread of illness such as
Wash your hands frequently
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Distance Learning
These grades will be placed in the gradebook like normal. Parents with Parent Access accounts will be able to access these grades as normal.
If you should have any questions about grades, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher.

Students:
So much has happened since we had last seen each other. I want you to know it's ok if this time away from school is hard. I want you to know you can do hard things. I am here to help you. You can ask your parents to send me an email or call me so I can talk to you. One more thing, try to take time to do something that is fun everyday.
