Check out your local library today!!

If you haven’t been to your local library lately, September is a great time to visit and get your child a free library card. Introducing young children to all that libraries have to offer can spark a love of reading that helps develop literacy and language skills that lay the foundation for success in school.

A recent study found that U.S. libraries offered more than 2.3 million children’s programs in a year, accounting for nearly two-thirds of all library programming. Whether it’s toddler story time or game or movie night, regular library visits give children the gift of lifelong learning.
