The homeroom with the most checkouts including Limitless Libraries is Mrs. Cecil. The homeroom class has earned an hour of tech fun in the library! We have started a new challenge for February. Remember, this is for homerooms. If a student is sent from another class, the points go to their homeroom.

Periodic Table Day - Febrary 7th.
Since February 7th is Periodic Table Day, check out this site that will generate names/words with the periodic table’s symbols:
LithiumThe lightest of all metals - half the denisty of water. Discovered in 1817 now used in Batteries. (Gr. lithos, stone)
BromineThe only liquid nonmetallic element. A heavy, mobile, reddish-brown liquid with a disagreeable odor. (Gr. bromos, stench)
ArgonA common colorless, odorless inert Noble Gas. Used in light bulbs and as insulation. (Gr. argos, inactive)
YttriumA relatively common, stable, rare-earth metal that gives a red color in CRTs. (Swedish Ytterby, a village in Sweden)
