Weekly Bulletin - April 9, 2020
HAPPY EASTER TO ALL OF OUR ST. PAT'S FAMILIES
We are hoping families are doing well with our "new normal" and please know that we are here to support you in any way we can. Please continue to reach out to our staff.
On Holy Thursday, we reenact the Lord's Last Supper, which He shared with His apostles on the night He was betrayed and arrested.
On Good Friday, the day of the crucifixion and death of our Lord, we have the veneration of the Cross. A service is held at three o'clock in the afternoon (the hour He is believed to have died) and another later in the evening.
Holy Saturday is a vigil. We keep watch for the expectant rising of Our Savior.
Those who engage themselves wholeheartedly in living the entire Easter cycle discover that it can change them forever.
Breakfast Club News!
We also appreciate all the help from both local businesses and parents who have made donations. Our students appreciate your support!
Unfortunately we can't run together as a team, but I would encourage all past team members and anyone else to join the virtual AMA Run Club. This is a great opportunity for families to go out together and be active! Heading out for a run before you start your school work for the day or after lunch would provide a great energy boost for everyone! These unique times have provided many of us with the flexibility to get outside and move during the day, let's take advantage of it!
By registering for the club participants will receive:
- Weekly emails (to parents) with activities and challenges you can complete at home
- A 10 week running/walking program that builds up to a 2 or 5 km fun run!
- Certificate of completion at the end of June and finisher prizes for every participant
- An entry to win 1 of many Garmin Activity Trackers drawn at the end of June
