Davenport's Weekly Update
Week of November 14th, 2021
Message from the Principal
Greetings Davenport Families!
“Be thankful for everything that happens in your life; it’s all an experience.”
― Roy T. Bennett
In the midst of any circumstance, whether negative or positive, it is comfort in knowing that showing GRATITUDE and POSITIVITY can help to uplift your day or someone else’s. Continue to push forward DAVENPORT! We have a lot to be THANKFUL for. Continue to be the You that You want to see in others. Embrace, Engage, and Educate!
Parents please be reminded of the following:
- Please sign and return the student health affirmation document to your child's teacher as soon as possible.
- Be sure to keep your child home if they are showing one or more symptoms listed on the health affirmation document.
- Attendance is importance: students are expected to come to school daily, keeping health guidelines in mind.
- If your child is absent, please contact the school so we are aware of the absence. Please send in any doctors note(s) to have the day excused.
Thank you!
Have a great weekend!

Wise Words to Live By
Mrs. Angelucci's ELL class read an autobiography about Henry Winkler. Everyone agreed that the following quote had to be shared as words to always remember: "Everyone has something special inside. Dig deep, get it out, and give it to the world as a gift" -Henry Winkler
One of Mrs. Angelucci's talented students also designed a poster to display on their classroom wall!
ELL Students Share With Classmates
Inspired after reading an autobiography, students in Mrs. Angelucci's 3rd grade ELL class created a timeline of important events in their lives to share with their classmates.
