GMO benfits

They can help
GMOs (specifically genetically modified foods) have played a major role in decreasing third world hunger. Scientists can put in nutrients the plants don't have which can help a society in huge ways.
More Benefits
Plants can be easier to grow because they can be genetically adapted to withstand heat, droughts, and other extreme climates. The genetic diversity can also be increased and the food is cheaper which makes it affordable to poorer people.
