A Message from Mrs. Thompson
We had another terrific week at Bush! I had a wonderful time chatting with parents at "Pastries with the Principal" and look forward to being able to gather with parents again in the near future. I was overwhelmed with how many parents said the teachers are the BEST part of Bush. I could not agree more. I just wanted to make sure that I take a moment to acknowledge how much I appreciate everything our teachers are doing for our students every single day.
Next week we have a lot of wonderful things to look forward to! We have a Planetarium set up in the activity room for all of our third and fourth grade students to visit during specials. We have our holiday parties on Thursday and a magician show on Friday. I am excited for all the fun things we have planned for our students. Don't forget Friday is an early release day. We will be dismissing at 12:10 pm.
Please have a wonderful weekend with your families!
Mrs. Lizzy Thompson
A message from Mr. Smith - Our Music Teacher
The Bush Bobcat Choir will have its first rehearsal Thursday, January 13. The choir will be open only to 4th graders this year. Rehearsals will meet in Mr. Smith's music room. Thursday rehearsals will begin at school dismissal and end at 4:00. The Thursday rehearsals will be the combined choir members. The choir will start regular morning rehearsals the following week. Rehearsals will be on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting at 7:15 AM.
The link posted here is to have choir members sign up either for Tuesday or Wednesday rehearsals. Please make your selection in the Sign-Up Genius and plan on Tuesday or Wednesday to be an attendance commitment for your child until the concert in May. If your child rides a bus to school, please plan for alternate transportation since our buses do not arrive before 7:30.
Please note that the choir will be just for 4th graders this year.
