Town of Sunnyvale - Aug. 12, 2022
Collins Road striping
Striping on Collins Road is scheduled to take place before school starts back on Aug. 17, however labor shortages with the contractor may delay the project. The Town is seeking out additional contractors to attempt to finish the project before Aug. 17.
In the event that the striping does not occur prior to the start of school, the Town's Public Works department has already begun preparing the road with reflectors and delineators to assist motorists in visualizing traffic lanes. A heavy police presence is expected to be in the Collins Road area later next week. Please be patient, obey all traffic laws, and be mindful of school zones.
The Town appreciates your patience as we work to determine a solution.
