Park Terrace Elementary
May 18, 2022 Newsletter
Greetings Park Terrace Elementary!
Last Friday, our 4th graders had the opportunity to go to the high school for a day of track and field with peers from Northpoint, Centerview and Woodcrest. It was such a fun event for all the students and staff and a great opportunity to both compete and make new friends they will see next year at Westwood! Thank you to all of our students for their hard work on the track, and thank you to all of our staff and volunteers for helping the events go smoothly!
This Friday, May 20, 6-8 p.m. is our spring carnival at Park Terrace Elementary! If you are able to come, we would love to see you. I know our students will have a great time! Wristbands for the event will be $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family. Wristbands will also be available at the door. There will be pizza and snacks available for purchase. Our PTO is still looking for volunteers for the evening. If you are able to help, please follow the QR code or link below to sign up!
In between all these fun events, we still have so much learning to accomplish! It’s a busy time of year. Please continue to check in with your student and reach out to teachers or any staff as you have questions or need clarity. We’re all here to help students find success and have fun as we finish the year.
I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and I hope to see you at the Spring Carnival!
Sincerely,
Mona Perkins
Principal
