Bristow After-School Program
October Newsletter
A Word from the Site Supervisor
Dear Parents,
I am now the supervisor of the Bristow After-School Program. We will have a Halloween party on Thursday, Oct. 29. The students may bring their costumes to change into for the after-school party. We do ask that they bring it in a bag with their name on it.
Thank you,
Ms. Synthia
Enrichment classes
Our latest Enrichment catalog for the fall session has been released and classes are already in progress. If you would like more information about the classes or to register for a class, please click on the link below. School-age children are welcome at many enrichment classes when accompanied by an adult. Call (270) 842-4281 with any questions.
Teen Angel
Teen Angel is a Christmas assistance program for students ages 13 and older who are enrolled in a Warren County Public or Bowling Green Independent school.
Tax-deductible, monetary donations to the program can be made at Community Education or the ALIVE Center, 1818 31-W By-pass, until Dec. 4. Make checks payable to Teen Angel. Gift cards to Walmart, K-Mart, Target, Kohl’s, Meijer and Greenwood Mall also are welcome.
Election Day All-Day Program Registration
The cost is $25 per day per child. We will provide breakfast and an afternoon snack, but students will need to bring a sack lunch and a drink. Please call our office at 270-842-4281.
Flu Clinic
Community Education is offering a free flu shot clinic in conjunction with CDS #10 Pharmacy. It will be in our conference room on Nov. 6 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Most insurance companies cover flu shots, if your insurance company does not, the shots will be $25-30. You just need an ID and your insurance card in order to participate.
