February 21st, 2023

From the Desk of Principal Fears

Greetings Fugett Families,

February is African American History Month. According to, "African American History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history... This annual celebration has inspired schools and communities nationwide to organize local celebrations, establish history clubs and host performances and lectures." Please join FMS in celebrating African American History Month.

Please read below for important information about the upcoming weeks at Fugett Middle School.

Have an awesome day!

Dr. Dionne Fears

Principal, Fugett Middle School

Technology Reminder!

Parents/Guardians: Please remind your students to bring their laptop chargers to school every day. Student laptops are to be charged and ready to go each school day!

More and more students are forgetting their chargers, and the library has a limited number that students can borrow. This leads to students missing out on valuable instruction when they either have to go to the library to get loaner or if they are unable to participate in class because their laptop is not charged.
