Updates and Upcoming Events for Mrs. Fuqua's Art Classes

What's New?

This semester, the art classes will focus on diversity and citizenship. These are really rich, interesting topics and the students should be able to come up with some really great projects based off of these topics. To break the ice, students will first work on a group project together. We have dubbed this first project the "Helping Hands" project. You may view the "Class Projects" page of Mrs. Fuqua's website for more info on the project. Visit for more information.

Museum Field Trip

Our weekend field trip to Atlanta is coming up very soon. We will have another meeting to go over the itinerary and logistics of the trip on September 2, 2016 (Friday) at 6:30 pm. We ask that all parents attend the meetings. We are also in need of several more chaperones (you may sign up during our next meeting or by emailing Mrs. Fuqua).

During the trip, we plan visit the High Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia. On the last day of our trip, we plan to visit the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD Atlanta).
