Benvolio is Romeo's cousin, or Montague's nephew. He is known as the one who tries to make peace between the Montague's and the Capulet's. Also, Benvolio helps Romeo not think about Rosaline. Benvolio is last seen attending Mercutio's and Tybalt's deaths, but then flee's from the scene.


Benvolio is Lord Montague's nephew. He is Romeo's cousin, and one of his best friends.

The Montague family has Lord and Lady Montague, the father and mother, Romeo the son, Benvolio the nephew and cousin, Balthazar a servant and friend of Romeos', and Abram, another servant.

Interesting Facts

He flees from the town when he hears that Romeo killed Tybalt.

Knows that if the Montague's and Capulets continue the fight, then they will die.

Spends too much of his time trying to make Romeo happy.
