- Planning for the 2020-21 school year.
- INFORMATION regarding how we will be closing up the 2019-2020 school year.
As promised, we will continue to send out our Learning Links on Sunday at 3:00 to provide parents some additional 'review and prep' time for the upcoming week before your own work week begins on Monday morning.
Please know... We will work together with you to help in any way we can. If you have any questions or need to touch base, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here for you and your children. We are here to help all our students be successful.
Take care of you and yours and in so doing, we take care of each other.
With Grace, we are 'All-In' this together.
BRINGING 2019-2020 TO A CLOSE
Planning for 'Curbside Drop Off and Pick Up'' May 20-22
Beginning on Wednesday May 20 we will have scheduled times to come by the school through the carpool line for 'Curbside Drop Off and Pick Up'!
Families with children in multiple grade levels can select which time to come that best works with your family's schedule.
THE SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Wednesday, May 20
10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Kindergarten and First Grade
Thursday, May 21
10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Second and Third Grade
Thursday Evening, May 21
6:00-8:00 p.m
Working parents who can not come during the day.
Friday, May 22
10:00 a.m.--1:00 p.m.
Fourth and Fifth Grade (Grade 5 remember to also return Number the Stars)
Each grade level will send out reminders as to what you may have at home that will need to be returned in the next grade level S'mores.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE YOUR 'CURB SIDE DROP OFF AND PICK UP' TIME:
1) Place all text books, library books or items belonging to the school in a plastic bag for each child and place each bag in the trunk of your car. Please have your child's name, grade, and teacher's name inside each bag.
2) When you pull up to the school (Carpool line off of Caravan Way) please have in the front passenger side window a sign with the boldly printed names of your child(ren)'s name, grade(s) and teacher(s). (This will help the line move more quickly.)
3) When you drive up, pop your trunk open. We will remove the materials you are returning to the school and place plastic bag(s) with your child(ren)'s name(s) on it in your trunk.
WHAT ABOUT CHROMEBOOKS?:
You have a choice regarding your child's Chromebook:
Chromebooks may be returned at this time.
- Please be sure to add a sticky note on the keyboard with your child's name, grade, and teacher's name on it.
- Place each chromebook you are returning in a separate plastic bag with the power cord.
- Do not place the chromebook in the same plastic bag with text books, library books, etc. We truly appreciate your help with this.
If you would like for your child to be able to use a chromebook during the summer to work on Dreambox or Pathblazers, or other learning opportunities you are welcome to wait and turn the Chromebook in the week of July 23-29.
MEDICATION:
For those who still have medication in the clinic we will be reaching out to you to coordinate pick-up for the end of the 2019-20 school year. Medications are not left on campus to be carried over to the following school year.
