PCA Weekly News

Week on April 25th - 29th

A Peek at the Week

Holy Week

It is truly a blessing to be at PCA during Holy Week. Your children were engaged in so many meaningful activities this week. Your children understood the significance of each day throughout Holy Week. I was extremely impressed with all the creative projects our teachers were creating with your children. Students created Holy Week Booklets, 3D scenes, mobiles, crowns, eggs, and crosses. Students also had a bit of fun dyeing eggs, creating baskets, and participating in an egg hunt. We attended church services on Holy Wednesday and received Holy Unction. We also attended church services on Holy Thursday and received Holy Communion. I hope your children are sharing everything they have learned throughout the week. We hope to see many of our students at church this weekend. Kali Anastasi and Kalo Pascha!

Opa the Greek Bunny

Opa the Greek Bunny paid us a visit on Monday, April 25th. The Bunny went around to each classroom and took group pictures with our students. The students were so excited to see the bunny. They were giving the bunny hugs and high fives. It was wonderful to see the smiling, happy faces of our students. They truly enjoyed this moment. Following the clasroom visits, we had a delicious pancake lunch. All students then met in the chapel for story time with Father Andrew. Father Andrew read students a story about Pascha. Finally, we all gathered outside for a Paschal Egg Hunt. Students had a fun-filled day! We would like to than our PPO for making this day possible and for all of the families who were able to join us.
