Physical Property

Physical Property is a characteristic of a substance that can be observed without changing the state of the object. For example observing sand you can see that it is brownish.

Chemical Property

A characteristic that observed when two substances interact with each other. For example vinegar and baking soda mix together to make carbon dioxide.

Chemical Change

A change in matter that produces new substances. For example melting ice cream melting.

Physical Change

A change that produces a new substance. For instance breaking a pencil.
