Virtual High Interest Day on Wednesday, May 20th
We hope you enjoy the first ever McKinley Virtual High Interest Day on Wednesday, May 20th.
It’s Virtual High Interest Day! Yes let’s celebrate our time at home with a Virtual High Interest Day.
What is a Virtual High Interest Day do you ask? We’ve put together 20 internet generated videos. Each video has a different topic. Some are to be watched like the MSO and some are to participate in like yoga. In addition to the internet videos, 9 McKinley kids have put together their own videos to watch and teach you. These are not to be missed.
On behalf of the PTO, we hope you enjoy the first ever McKinley Virtual High Interest Day.

Thank You!
Thank you to all who attended the Yo Mama “Dine Out” curbside pick up on Friday. Thanks also to all of you who have supported McKinley by participating in Dine Out events this entire year to raise money for our school. We really appreciate it and hope the landscape looks different next year and we are again able to gather together for a good cause.
All the best, Dana Wurzburger
Scan and Clip Your Box Tops
Just wanted to send a reminder to keep scanning those receipts and/or clipping those Box Tops! As we all keep stocking up, remember the clips can earn money for McKinley. And don't forget, even if you are shopping online for groceries you can still earn Box Tops with your digital receipt!
Follow this link to find out how: https://www.boxtops4education.com/emailgroceryreceipts
And if you haven't yet download the new Box Tops app, do so on your mobile device today!

New Family Mentor Program Volunteers Needed
McKinley's New Family Mentor Program connects existing McKinley families with families new to McKinley with the goal of welcoming new families to the school as well as providing a resource for information and questions throughout the school year.
In order to make this program successful, we are in need of veteran McKinley families to volunteer to be mentor families this year. The time commitment is minimal and the impact is lasting. Please consider becoming a Mentor Family by contacting Paige Brown at brownpa@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us
