Interpreting Nature: the Art of Paying Attention

Saturday, Dec. 5th, 6pm

Cross Roads Center

Prescott College Undergraduate students present The Art of Paying Attention. This exhibition, located in the Prescott College Crossroads Center, will showcase work from their class, Interpreting Nature Through Art and Photography.

The Art of Paying Attention has been inspired though personal interactions within nature, noticing its powerful presence in the world, and finding the deeper meanings in its intricacies. By exploring unfamiliar perspectives within nature they call to attention details of the world not usually seen. Exploring the interactions of humans within nature, both destructive and constructive, and the ways nature lingers on. Through artwork and photography they document their unique interpretations of the natural world around them.
