Job Openings at Broken Arrow!

Help spread the word! Broken Arrow is looking for caring adults to work in our building! We are hiring for a part-time library aide and part-time paraprofessional position, paraprofessional positions (full-time), and a non-instructional monitor to help supervise during lunch (2-3 hours per day). Please apply at www.usd497.org under the "Apply" tab. These positions follow student schedules for the most part and would be great family-friendly positions for those who want to be connected to our school!

Help Us Celebrate Our Amazing Staff!

We have a tradition at Broken Arrow called Broken Arrow Bravos, where staff members can submit a celebration of something a staff member did during the week that impacted them or students positively during the week. Our Building Leadership Team wanted to open that opportunity up to families as well! This will be a regular feature here on the Friday Flyer! Click HERE if you want to submit a Broken Arrow Family Bravo!

Dr. Lewis would like to start a Superintendent Advisory Council. He will meet with groups periodically (frequency is TBD, likely once a month in the evening) as the goal of the council is to provide input and feedback to Dr. Lewis regarding processes and procedures. If you are interested in being Broken Arrow's parent representative on the Council, please reach out to Ms. Renk at her email below. If we have numerous parents interested, I will submit the first person who has expressed interest!

We are also looking for parents or business members to join our BA Site Council. Please email Ms. Renk with your interest in Site Council as well.

Please note that while the Superintendent Advisory Council may meet in person, all building-level PTA and Site Council meetings will be held remotely until further notice.
