Raider Nation News
Volume 2 Ed. 9
Message from Bob Carnaroli
Hello Raider Families,
As we move into the holiday season, Raider Nation is committed to helping others in our community in a variety of ways. Our students and staff are working to provide needed items for as many individuals and group as possible.
We are committed to providing opportunities for our students and staff to give back to the community. In doing so, we care for each other. Throughout the fall semester, our students participate in various forms of collection drives and giving. Here are a few of the events that allow us to say thanks for giving:
- Fall school wide canned food drive contest
- Letters for the troops
- Small toiletries and powdered drink mixes for our troops
- Boxes of love – food boxes for the school breaks
- The Source – school pantry with meals, snacks, and toiletries available to all students at no cost
- Toys for Tots
- The Giving Tree – gifts for children in our community.
In helping others, we help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle and comes back to us. – Flora Edwards
COVID Protocols/Updates:
As of today, NFHS has 0 staff and 1 student out on COVID quarantine. Continue to closely monitor your child's health for early symptoms and be proactive and keep your child home or if waiting on COVID Test results. This has significantly helped us lower the spread over the past month.
- The school will only notify those students that were within the 6 feet radius, for 15 minutes of the positive case. A generated letter will be sent to those families.
- There is NO MANDATORY quarantine for asymptomatic students.
- Families will have the option of self-quarantine.
- Continue to monitor your child's health and potential symptoms.
- Please keep your child home at the first sign of symptoms or if waiting on COVID Test results.
- Please call the school if you have any questions.
We are North Forsyth, we are #NoFo Strong, Once a Raider Always a Raider, because that's how we roll !

Raider Team Nationals - Rifle Team
Raider Team
MCJROTC Raiders wrapped up their season at the All-Service Nationals in Molena, Ga on Friday November 5th. The field of competition was impressive (53 JROTC units from across the country), the weather chilly, and the cadets highly motivated and ready for their first National contest in two years. Lady Raiders came away with a 3rd Place finish in the Physical Team Test and Runner-Up in the 5k Mountain Run. A special thanks and shout out the awesome chaperones who assisted; Cheryl Milejczak, Marian Mulligan, Dawn Finley, and Amanda Hiott.
We are proud of all members of the Raider Team and what they have been able to accomplish this season.
Rifle Team
Rifle team's season opener took place at Tallulah Falls School (TFS) on 11/10. It was the first time TFS has hosted a visiting team in their new facility and both teams were excited to kick off the season.
This competition however favored the hosting team. Final score: TFS 1128, NFHS 966.
Top shot for NFHS was Erick Rubio with 262
