Striving Toward and Achieving Excellence with Early Learners
The Southern Indiana Education Center and 4C of Southern Indiana have partnered to design and offer 4 days packed full of training for preschool educators and leaders. This is a wonderful opportunity for both public, private, and home-based preschool teachers and administrators to expand their approaches and learn relevant and reliable strategies for success. Whether you are a new or veteran teacher, these 4 days will provide inspiration, collaboration, and practical approaches to achieving excellence.
Highlights of each day:
Day 1: Conscious Discipline, Recognizing implications of different social-emotional Behaviors
Day 2: Family Engagement and Community Connections
Day 3: Using Indiana's CKC (Core Knowledge and Competencies), Designing developmentally appropriate lessons, Accommodating special populations
Day 4: Utilizing Creative Curriculum resources, Lesson Planning, Growth Mindset, Room Design
Plus, all four days offer a tremendous opportunity to network and share successes and concerns with colleagues from across the southwestern Indiana region. You are invited to join us for these four helpful and important days designed specifically for teachers of early learners. These days can be used as stand-alone sessions or collectively for those that want to experience the entire series. See below for registration details.
March 13, April 17, May 10, and May 30
*Workshop times are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern)
*Lunch is included in the registration.
*Each participant will receive a certificate for 6 Professional Growth Points per session. (24 PGPs for all 4 days.)
*All participants should bring a laptop to use during the session.
*Registration fee is $50 per person per single session. If registering for entire series (4 days), the registration fee is $175.
