Strategy of Lesson
Extension: To further a form of cooperative lesson I would have the students make their own class mural incorporating symbols that pertain to what they consider important to them and portray them on a large piece of paper to showcase to the school community. Along with this mural I would assess their work by observing how they work with one another and question them about their pictures/symbols they chose. The grade would be dependent on how well they can explain their choice.
